In 2023, a small dream of mine took shape, to share the everyday kahanis (stories) of Nani Ghar with everyone who has been part of this space. From Reshma stealing the spotlight, the jins lurking mischievously, the team adventures and bursts of creativity to the beshumar yaadein (countless memories) we’ve created. But most of all, these stories celebrate the magic in the everyday moments we often overlook.

As a visual artist with a love for storytelling, illustrating these monthly comics has been nothing short of joyful. What started as an experiment with my very first comic drawn entirely on my phone, quickly grew into a tradition. Month by month, panel by panel, with every kahani I found myself exploring new styles, stepping out of my comfort zone, and finding new ways to bring these stories to life.

Each comic is a slice of life, a celebration of the people, moments, and memories that make this space more than just a chaar deewari (four walls). These comics aren’t just stories, they’re love letters to the little things that make life big.  They’re about finding beauty in the everyday, appreciating the small moments, and an invitation to gently unfold the next chapter of your life, with kindness, curiosity, and an open heart.

I’m excited to keep sharing these stories with all of you every month with a hope that they bring a smile to your face and remind you of the joy in appreciating life’s little moments.
